Alex is looking for: An Apartment / Studio / HouseBoat in Groningen

We are Nikita Rezenovs and Alex González Fernández, a Spanish-Latvian international couple, aged 24 and 27 respectively. We are looking for a place to rent in Groningen starting as soon as possible. We have already started our respective programmes at the University of Groningen: a Master's degree in Language & Cognition and a Pre-Master in Arts & Culture. We plan to stay in Groningen for at least two years while we study and would be very happy to rent a property for an extended period. 

We are looking for a comfortable and well-maintained home where we can settle during our studies. A convenient location and enough space for both of us to live and study comfortably are especially important to us. 

We have been renting and living together for one year, and we have each rented independently for another three to four years. We have always taken good care of the homes in which we have lived. We do not smoke, we do not have pets or children, and we are quiet, clean and responsible tenants. We lead a healthy lifestyle, enjoy sports and like attending cultural events and activities, particularly those connected with local folklore and traditions. 

Financially, we are in a stable position. We are currently working for Irish companies: Nikita as a generative AI annotator and Alex as a pre-school teacher. In Groningen, we intend to work alongside our studies and apply for student finance. We also have sufficient savings to cover the rent for an extended period, even up to one year if necessary. In addition, we can provide an international guarantor who is a close family member, has a permanent employment contract and holds Spanish and EU citizenship. 

We can provide identification documents, university enrollment documents, proof of employment, payslips, bank statements, proof of previous rent payments and a reference from our current or previous landlady if required.
